Apple’s iPhone 17 Series



Apple unveiled its brand new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That is updates to three known models and the brand-new iPhone 17 Air, which takes the place of the iPhone Plus. If camping out on release day isn't your style, and you still want to grab one right away, you'll be able to pre-order the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone 17 Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, before the September 19 release date.

Aplpe’s iPhone 17 gets a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and narrower edges. And after years of waiting (and a lot of grumbling), the base iPhone 17 finally gets a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the review here hood, Apple’s new A19 chip is more powerful and more energy-efficient, particularly when combined with Apple Intelligence. If you're upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll see a massive jump in speed and better gaming performance courtesy of ProMotion.
About the camera, you'll find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) as well as a 2x telephoto lens. The device’s ultra-wide camera also gets an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography sharper and much more impressive.

iPhone 17 Colours

The iPhone 17 will come in a range of colours including black, white, steel gray, light blue, green and purple.

The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in four shades: black, white, light gold and sky blue.

The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in three premium finishes: blue, orange and silver.
